It is superbowl time, and I am hiding like an abused child in a closet.
I slept in today, on purpose, so I would have to spend as little time as possible in earshot of the primate-like pounding and screaming of superbowl fans. Well foolish me, having not checked to see what time this game was on, my plans did not go as I expected.

I went to Venice Beach, to get as far away from the football types as possible. This worked, as there is a tribal type drum circle that takes place out near the water. A fine collection of Venice hippies, gangbangers, ME, tourists, etc... I just laid in the sand and drifted away. Feeling the ground move with the drums, the smell of pot in the air, the sun setting over Malibu, and the superbow as far the fuck away from me as possible.

As the sun sets at the beach here, it tends to get a bit cold and windy, and as my nose began to drip, I decided it was time to go home. I drove in silence, no radio as I might hear superbowl news if I listened to it. I pull in the drive, to find..........A BUNCH OF SCREAMING, STOMPING, TV TURNED TO 10, MONKEYS....

I guess my timing was off. Unless they are yelling at something else, this must mean the game is still on.

I just heard one of these monkeys yell(in that manly growl voice) YEAH!!!!!!! . 12 fucking times in a row, without pause.....While stomping.....

Am I going to complain? Of course not! I'm not like the cunt below me who complains if I sneeze, I just don't understand the need to scream and stomp, when, as we all know, YOU AREN'T EVEN A FAN OF EITHER OF THE TEAMS!!!!! All these people, every year, having superbowl parties, pretending to be fans of the team. Is it because your lives are so shallow and meaningless, and that you don't ever feel you belong, that you have to PRETEND that you are a die-hard fan of whoever is in the game?

Fuck it!!!! I can't spit out the point I was trying to make....
